There are certain foods that students are known so well for eating. From Rustlers Burgers to that calorie ridden Pizza this list will highlight what we students eat the most of in our Uni lives.
If you asked someone to say the first food that comes to mind when you say the word “student” I’m pretty sure this would be the first thing they say. I don’t think there has been a student in history that has not had a variation of pasta multiple times at some point in their University lifetimes.
No student food list could be complete without mentioning pizza. A large majority of students including myself when I first started university thought;
“Why cook a meal when I can chuck a delicious cheesy pizza in the oven and come back for it in 15 minutes?”
3. Donor Kebab
Yes we’ve all been here, it’s 3am, the club has just closed and you’re drunk. Where to now? The little takeaway on the walk back to the flat where there is the huge selection of pizza, chips or a greasy bit of what I’m not sure we can even call meat spinning on a metal pole.
How easy is it to make a curry? Chuck Chicken into a pan, add sauce and microwave some Uncle Ben’s rice. Sound familiar? This is certainly how I was when I first began university having curry about 4-5 times a week and is the reason why so many students opt for a curry for dinner.
If I had the money I would eat at Nandos for breakfast, lunch & dinner & then go back again just because I love it that much. The only downside to Nandos is the damage it does to your wallet. For those who don’t have enough money they can always check out our homemade Nandos that can be found here.
