How to make Nandos Spicy Rice
For those of you who don’t know, I am OBSESSED with Nandos and by obsessed I’m talking a minimum of twice a week, every week. That can get expensive in the long-term (especially for a student!) so I have a handful of homemade nandos recipes I keep in my back pocket. So what’s my go to order? That’s easy, medium butterfly chicken, spicy rice and peri peri chips. Anytime I mix it up the spicy rice is always there because I can’t help but feel it’s not a Nandos without it. This recipe is so cheap to make and once you have bought the spices you can make it over and over again for near minimal cost. In fact, I’d go as far to say that this is the CHEAPEST recipe I’ve uploaded so far. It’s also healthy! As far as I’m concerned Nandos really isn’t that bad in comparison to some as this recipe contains many spices and some vegetables as well so enjoy completely guilt free in both health and money. Easy student recipe’s Nandos Spicy Rice
1.5-2 cups long grain rice
2 bell peppers (1 red, 1 green)
1 chilli (red or green)
1 tbsp. turmeric
1 tbsp. curry powder
1 tsp. thyme
1 tsp. coriander
1 tsp. chilli powder
1x vegetable stock (pre prepared)
Peri peri salt (optional)
